Stan Lee superhero writer!

Ever wonder where all these superhero movies and video games come from? Who created the characters like The Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, The Hulk and Daredevil? It was Stan Lee, but he's not a comic artist, he is the writer behind dozens and dozens of superheros.

For the first time a museum is showcasing Stan Lee's work at MoCCA (Museum of comic and cartoon art) called Stan Lee: A Retrospective. If you're in the New York City area before July 3rd 2007 visit the museum, or check out the website - they're posting an audio tour and photos soon!

Tezuka: The Marvel of Manga

Manga is Japanese for comics and cartoons. Tezuka Osamu created more than 700 manga comics in his life, he's best known for Astro Boy and Kimba the White Lion.

Tezuka - The Marvel of Manga is at the Asian Art Museum June 2nd through September 9th - San Francisco. You can see some the comics online or in person if you're in the area.
